Independence Day 2026

The 80th Independence Day celebration was held at 9.00 am this morning in the Vallalar Colony playground.

The celebration started with the hoisting of the Indian Tri-colour Flag.

Colony residents, committee members and children participated in the celebrations. Sweets were distributed to all the attendees.

Subsequently, elections were conducted for new body members and committee members.

This was followed by the General Body Meeting to address important colony matters.

Association Secretary Mr. M. Ramiah read the annual report. Treasurer Mr. Ramaranjan read the financial report.

Joint Secretary Mr. K. Suresh gave the vote of thanks and concluded the meeting.
